Default Help hooking up a new A4

Hey, guys...I've been a Euro fan for the longest time with my old 328 till I sold it for a Corvette. Anyhow, my best friend just bought himself his first nice car...a brand new Audi A4 (Black on Black). He knows I used to hook up my old bimmer a lot, so he asked me to help design his car. I'll include a picture of my old car, so that you guys know about the style I'm shooting for...classic Euro with subtle and classy styling. We're looking for Rims, bodykit, and suspension. This is a New Jersey car, so I can't go extreme with the suspension. I'm trying to get him to shoot for a coilover kit rather than just springs. As far as body kits go, I'd much rather do a subtle add-on kit rather than full bumper replacement. I live near White Plains, NY and he lives in New Jersey just 30 minutes from me. If there is anywhere we can get these pieces in this area, that would be best.

Just remember that this guy is just looking to add a little bling...he's not much of a performance junkie like myself. Thanks a bunch for you help.

He's looking to around $2,000 for wheels, $1000 for bodykit and $800 for suspension. He has a guy who will paint and install his kit, but he's going to need someone local to install the suspension.

That should help get you started. I assume you mean brand new as in '05. If that's the case, he may have to wait. It's a brand new body style and performance/body shops are still working on getting new products out.

I think "u" should stick to the topic. JK. The Vette is what it is and the Bimmer is what it was.

I need more recommendations for wheels fellas. what are some moderately priced options?

2000 bones buy's you a lot in the used market... could get a nice set of lightweight BBS wheels. Even 3 piece oettingers have gone that cheap before. Coilovers... you can get koni's for close to 800, and they are pretty good -- very good for the $. Body kit... no clue.

I think renn-art is close to you guys... but, as I'm in Canada, I would double check that :P

As for your car's, the bimmer looks really nice, those 19's? The vette... I dig the pewter colour. Vert's arent my bag, but the z06 wheels (replica's?) look really nice on the car.

Any appt's with lingenfelter?
