We just got a 1999 A4 1.8 liter turbo. unfortunately we cant find an owners manual for it. We found a button on the drivers side of the car below the drivers seat belt, and we cant figure out what it is for. It is a square button with a picture of a car on it with some curved lines. When you start the car the button will light up, if you push the button there is another light on there that will go on and off when the button is pushed. Any help on this would be appreciated.Thank you

 

i wish i could help but i can't and the reality is i don't think anyone will... I've posted twice on here now with similar questions and have yet to get a response. This site seems worthless i would try somewhere else, i know i will. Anyhow, good luck i hope you get an answer

 

this is a motion sensor button.. it is for if you lock the doors and have something in there to make sure not to set off the alarm ... to call this site worthless will defiantly get you no help...
