Default Help I broke something

I have a 01 2.8l 30v. I broke a hard hose. It starts on the driver side right behind the firewall on a 3 hose connector. Then it runs right across the top of the engine and is held in place by a little holder. After that it goes to the other valve cover, I think to the fuel injection. Im not sure though. Its a hard hose and has a little oil passing through it. Im not sure what it is though. Any ideas? Pics? I would post a pic but I don't have a camera anymore. Thanks.

Does the oil flow at a constant rate? Is there any vacuum on either side of the hose?

No it doesnt. The hose is shaped like a U . It starts on drivers side and plugs right into the top of the valve cover on the left. What sits on the head on the passenger side of the car?

Now I don't own an Audi, but I would guess you broke a PCV line if its connected to the valve cover.
