Hey guys, new to the forums and in the market for a b6 a4 1.8t. I need to know if this is indeed a legit s-line? I've done tons of research and have concluded thus far:

B6 ultrasport until 2004.5 switched over to S-line

USP has doorblades, different front/rear bumpers, trunk spoiler, and perforated steering wheel

This one is listed as 2004 audi a4 s-line with ultra sport package and 6-spd mt.




Could this just be a 6spd quattro with regular sports package and added on trunklid spoiler and antennae? Any help would be appreciated in my quest for an A4!

 

See if you can get the VIN and call your nearest audi dealership. You'll probably get a quicker response that way. Although, they might not tell you either.. But that antennae wouldnt exactly be something someone would think of if they were trying to make a fake. I dunno what else to tell ya. Hope this helps

 

Don't think the antenna has anything to do with S-line. Pretty sure that was an add on for satellite radio starting in 2004 model year and beyond regardless of trim package.

Agree on VIN number. Dealer can tell you right away what the model is. I had found the 'code' to decipher model etc out of the VIN at one point but don't recall where that was.

 

Thanks for the replies. I got the vin and called audi customer care(great service!) as the dealer suggested because he says he got the info from them. Turns out it is indeed just a 04 quattro 6 spd with sports package, premium pkg, and lighting pkg. The dealer still insisted it was an S-line with 190hp, he claims he sold it after i told him my results. Pity on crooked dealers charging extra for non-existent packages!
