you said you had a cel on? get the codes read off of it first... do you even know where your mounts are? i dont mean to sound like a d!ck, but it doesnt make sense to start with things that are more of a pain in the as$.... always start with the easy stuff.

check both motor mounts and the snub mount. its not a misfire since the CEL isn't flashing, but its still a good idea to get that code

light misfires dont always make the cel flash, i'm not saying it definitly is a misfire, but its so godamn easy to go get your codes read, dont you want to know why its on either way?

engine tilt due to worn mounts could cause many fault codes because the engine is unstable so that's the first place to start

lawd my car vibrates like no other!

when i start it it vibrates bad and when i excelerate it vibrates too.

i also hear a clicking noise every now and then coming from under the car.

not a good look.

so off to audi for me to get it fixed.

the service man told me that i should have my car diagnosed there instead of at autozone which i kind of agree with but since it's still free i'm gong to go to autozone and get the codes first.

of course he wants you to have it scanned at the dealer. that way he could charge you for it. definitely scan it at autozone, and post the codes, and we'll help u out

sensors on the engine can give testy codes so I agree with you and let them do it under warranty

in my experience of replacing like 3 or 4 coilpacks, they start out a bit more suttle and only get worse. like in the beginning of the failure, the car will still be plenty powerful and drive normally until its at running temperature, it doesnt misfire every time its at wot, only sometimes. When it starts misfiring, you can let off and get right back on it and it goes fine. Then as time goes by, even off a coldstart, the car misfires. It is near impossible to give it any gas without it misfiring. and eventually becomes almost impossible to drive. Coilpacks dont go all at once, it starts off small and gets worse and worse until it cant hold any current at all. thats what a "light misfire" means to me.
