I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T and I'm trying to replace the low beam bulb. I've read in the posts that you just pop off the back light cover and you replace the bulb. How do you get at it. There are wires and the power steering reservoir in the way. I can even get the cover off, nevermind get me hand in there. Is there a simple way to do this or do I have to dismantle everything in the way.

Any help would be much appreciated. This is driving me nuts

 

I think on the 2002 and up you have to remove the headlight. Just remove the torx(?) screws and pull the headlight out.

There are two torque screws on top, but it won't come out. There must be some kind of clip or something on the bottom that I haven't found yet. I'll keep looking.

 

I'm having the same problem with mine.

 

There should be two screw heads that look the same as the top ones, only they are near the bottom.

 

There is an additional screw below the horizontal adjustment screw. It is near the left signal light. I think you'll have to loosen the power steering reservoir. This appears to be a major PITA.
