I got a 1997 audi a4 , i ran the vin and it comes up as a 2.8 , no biggy , motor swap was professionally done by some guys at auto gallery in RI . It now has the 1.8t and everything is stage one , i put a boost controller in it , one click put me at 17 psi , which as you all know , good old limp mode , i came across the "diode mod" and got some 4.3v diodes , NO MAP TO BE FOUND , but some unplugged wires , someone help me out by figuring out where it should be or..? Nothing under the headlight driver side but there is a bundle of unplugged wires , or is there another way to use the diode like with the MAF? If theres no MAP i was going to try to locate the wires , ground the middle one and connect wires on either end with the diode.. Would it work?
