Default Help with new '06 a4 decision

Ok, I have been looking around for the past month at different model cars, I started out looking at the G35 and the Nissan 350z, then started to move away from them because of price and impracticality. Now i have been looking at the 2006 saab 9-3 and the 2006 audi a4. I absolutly love the look of the a4 and the AWD appeals to me way more than the saabs FWD. I was wondering how much everyone thought i could get the 2.0t with leather interior. I went to the dealer and they said the leather comes with the sunroof package which is about $1,200. The guy said the lowest i could get a model like this is about $34k, I think this guy is full of **** cause you can go on the audi website and build yoru car for like 31k..... What do you guys think I can get this new car for? I want to try and stay around or under 31k if possible.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

A new A4 Quat/Trip fully loaded stickers around $41K.

Just with Premium is around $33K. So you should be able to get what you want fairly easily.

Remember, whatever car you buy ALWAYS immediately take $2500 off the sticker price shown and that becomes the price that you START negotiations on.

You won't regret buying the Audi. It's gonna be kinda hard to stay in that price range though. Does the dealer even have any configured like that on the lot?

Great point.

I have never seen one spec'ed that low in the dealerships?

It's like with BMW's. Yeah they may start under $30K, but I have more chance of coming home from work and finding Charlize Theron in my bed than finding a BMW under 35K.

Good luck.

I knwo for a fact that you can get lower prices though, especially if you negotiate over the phone with the internet team.

MSRP = manufactures SUGGESTED retail price. good luck getting a car for what it's advertised for

i'd personally suggest the 2.0T with quattro and manual if you do plan on modding. you have an absolute beast aftre JUST a chip (what are your current specs anyway jest?) if you're just looking for a cruiser (which i'm assuming your not if you were looking at a 350Z) i think the V6 tip quattro would be RIGHT up your alley. either way... quattro quattro quattro
