I just bought a Auto Meter Sport-Comp2 boost & vaccum guage today, but it doesn't come with wiring harness.
What should I do?? What kind of wire or adapter do i need to get...

you mean for the illumination or the hose ?? If it has a light bulb in it there should be two prongs ( +/-) and you tap one (positive) into the wiring for the vent slider illumination or any power source and the other (negative) to a ground. I mean the wire for led lights...they didn't provide any wires like what APR does...
So i want to know should I just go get a black wire and red wire from hardware store and just tie it on the +/- part of the guage??

 

Dump it man. If you didnt get a wiring harness send that thing back

 

i got the apr vdo booste gauge, it didnt come with any wireing harness to light it up, i made a trip to canadian tire [:'(] and tapped into the lights for the vents, its easy.

 

ya my apr didnt come with wires/harness. I had to use my own wire to hook it up. if there are prongs on the light bulb socket thats what you have to do... Some boost gauges arent illuminated though and would therefore not have these prongs.
