Hi fellas, my fuel pump isnt delivering fuel, ive tested for voltage on the fuel pump and im getting readings, but dont know which means what, ive listened for fuel pump relay click, it makes the click when ignition switched on, and i cant hear fuel pump whining in the boot, but when the ignition is turned, for a few seconds i hear a whinning noise comming from engine near the center...?


what do i do help needed urgently as i need to drive to work with this car, and i hate taking it to mechanics they tell me to change useless ****

 

i assume you checked all the hoses and filters?

 

with filters ive replaced fuel filter, with hoses i woulda seen any fuel leaks which there arent

It seems that the fuel filter is clogged as hell..... You pump is getting power to it yeah ? & it is making a noise?

 

If you already done fuel filter within the last 20000 miles then your pump is fu.cked

 

i have changed the fuel filter, the adaptor leading into the fuel pump has 4 outputs, they all give off different readings i dont know which belongs to which, and the noise is comming from the engine bay not the boot, is that right?

I have whinning noise too? its when the ignition is turned on but engine not turned over yeah? Pretty sure thats just a computer or something. I can only think of injectors but the fuel pump should be making a noise at least. take the hose off the fuel pump & see if fuel spurts out... thats what id do.

 

yeah i mite try that, if it does or doesnt squirt what does it mean?

 

fuel pump be like paris hilton on a friday night..... F.UCKED or the wiring is shot to shi.t however you said you heard the relay working and everything so it will be Fuel Pump 95 %
