Default Help with suspension!

Hi I just bought a 01 A4 it has stock suspension. I want to lower it right but don't want to spend a ton. I just want a smooth ride and a lower look. I am not looking to race or drive hard! Thanks for any help

True that... coil overs are great, and start at like 700 for koni's I think... they give you the ability to raise the car back up, if snow is an issue for you...
otherwise, pick a good spring/shock combination.
Do NOT just put springs on your car... its a half assed way to do it, and will end up costing you another allignment, when you replace your blown stock shocks (they often are toast within months of installing springs)

Normally the lower you guy the less smooth the ride feels. And if money is an issue you can always find some Used konis for about 350-400 dollars if you look around. Audizine.com has a few sets for sale around that price.
