HELP-Whistling noise from wheel

Default HELP-Whistling noise from wheel

Theres this annoying whistling/sqeeking noise from my from right wheel. I just changed the bearing 2 weeks ago, and got a new suspension... The whistling noise is not constant but its there and .......... me off..
Anyone with any help on waht this could be. THnaks

When is it making the sound and can you be more specific on what it sounds like?

yeh sorry about that...
it makes the sound when im driving.. usually on lower speed..
the noise is like a whistling sounds high pitch.
i hope that helps

hmm.. might be.. if thats the prob.. is this something i can fix without sending it to a mechanic.?

Take the wheel off and look around. If it's touching, bend so it's not.

when you replace the bearing you probably bent the dust plate

just put a screw driver in there to press it away from the rotor

ohh i see.. thanks alot. i will try it out.. its minus 20 in toronto.. going to wait a bit until i can go outside without freezing

Could also be brake pads...maybe a stone embedded in the friction material or the pads are thin and need to be replaced. If the pads look good, try putting some anti-squeal goo on the back side of the pads where the piston/caliper push against the pad.
