You wouldn't happen to hear a loud hissing type noise under the hood with the engine running would ya?

Did this all start after the timing belt was done? Who worked on the car?

So is this correct-
1 - Radio error. It just says "error" right? That's because when you disconnect the battery, you need the radio code to unlock it. It might be in your owners manual or in the spare wheel well.
2 - Something with the idle.CEL on?

If the idle changes when you depress the brake it either has a vaccum leak going to the brake booster or the booster itself is bad. Does your brake pedal feel harder to push down?

You have to pull the fault codes, i would bet my pay check you have a large vaccum leak somewhere.

When the radio is in safe mode, it says SAFE on the screen. Error means something else.
