too much bass, makes everything in the vibrate and buzz really loud, gonna get the trunk dynamatted this week, the bass drowns out the highs cause im still using the stock speakers. looking into some boston acoustics

You're non-bose, obviously?
I have amplified the bose speakers, with a big 4 channel amp... and they keep up with my JL W7 very very well! My only annoyance is that they have no network... so I am going to ask my stereo shop about adding some cross overs... I want more vocals out of my damned tweeters! The tweeters barely touch vocals... vocals all come out of my 5.25's. When I was running my alpine type-X speakers, vocals were crystal clear -- from the tweeter. Who knows...

Good choice on the W7.. great sub are you running 1 sub or 2
