Hey guys i have a 2000 Audi A4 quattro 2.8 that i just bought.
when i go out to start my car after the car has been sitting there not moved started or anything all day and i go in to out the key in the on position (The car is not started) the temp gauge goes put past the halfway mark. And when i go to start the car it has trouble starting i think cause the car is trying to start in a lean condition so i dont know if it is my coolant temp sensor or what. Or is it my thermostat or my waterpump? Has anyone had this problem can you guys please help me out.

 

Well the one on top of the cluster is coolant, and the one on the bottom left is oil. Which one is it?
