Hi, nOOb here, bare with me!!
I've been searching around for a few days, and i gotta say this is a pretty friendly, well informed Forum!!! My questions arent really search-able, trust me i tried, so any info would be appreciated!!!
Im trading in my '04 RX-8 6MT for a '04 A4 1.8t 6speed quattro. I got to test drive the car but really didnt try to open it up( i was spending the day with mommy and she was with me in the car)
I've loved audi's for the last 7-8 years and am finally deciding to get one. From a performance standpoint, am i gonna be dissapointed when i put this thing to the floor and start grabbin gears !?!?(remember im going from a pure sports car to a "sporty-luxory" car)
My plan isto use this A4 as a DD and hopefully get a S4 or new GTR( if and when they ever get here) later this year or early '08. I want my DD to be a fun to drive car that i can mod slightly, but still have the Audiluxory. From what i've learned from this site i think i have picked the right car!! any insight....
Thanks,
LaCe

The A4 will be a completely different experience from the RX...but after you do a couple minor mods, you definately won't be disappointed...
good luck!

Thanks guys!! i kinda figured on that answer, but, like i said i love audi's and this is a much more practical car (in pittsburgh anyway) than the 8!!!I plan to do as most people here have seemed to do APR chip and ecu, uprade DVand injectors, def a short shifter (not used to that long-@ss throw) and exhaust for starters. There's a APR certified shop like 45 min away from me that does most all seriousVW's and Audi's in the Pittsburgh area that ill probley go to.
sounds like a good plan man
