HID Kit
hey guys, i'm new to this forum but have been a member of automotiveforums (nissan)for a couple of years. got my 1999 audi a4 1.8T a while ago and have a quick question about an HID conversion. i've searched on these forums for an answer and know that to convert my headlights to true audi HID, i'll need the D2S bulbs. i did find a kit on ebay (magic in online form) for $130USD (link is below so i don't have to explain the product). will this kit still light up the road in front of me nearly as wellas oem audi HID headlights? i'm not new to these lights in terms of recognizing what is real and what is fake in person, but knowing the difference between the differentenergies(9000k or 12000k) is something new to me and i only get conflicting opinions when i search. in person, i know what a real HID light looks like from the shape of the discharge tube to what it looks like when they are turned on.
the link below doesn't say verbatum what is included in the kit, so i will be sure to email the seller before i even think of buying this kit. my car came stock with the projector headlights so is this conversion a matter of making a new mount for the bulb, then plugging and playing? which energy bulb would look the most stock??
sorry for the bombarding of questions.. just want to explain to you all what i'm looking for.

You can buy an H7 kit from
www.visionbulbs.com
for $200. Let them know you're from this forum.
Don't go higher than 6000K.

i found a video of the type of light i want. its on a motorcycle but that doesn't make a difference. i'm guessing i'll be going with the 6000k but want to make sure its no poser bulb.

thats what i'm looking for
add: the camera is not adjusting the brightness in that video. its the discharge tube being turned on (i know its obvious, but the more specific i am, the more comfortable i'll be with buying a kit)
is that what the H7 kit is from visionbulbs??
