i want that super white look would it be better to go with some super white bulbs or go to hids also if i went with the hids what can i do to have the fog lights match i didnt see any hids for the fog lights on ebay do they make them? give your 2cents please

 

I would go with HID's. Regular bulbs have a lot of yellow compared to HID's. For the log lights, it is hard to match unless you get HID's there also. I would just buy some Silverstar Ultra's for fogs.

 

go with the HIDs for sure. They look ten times better and last a lot longer. For the fog lights to match you have to buy 2 HID conversion kits (low beams, fogs lights). Theres a guy on this forum with deals on HID conversion kits. www.visionbulbs.com

my fogs are h7 on a '01 a4. do not buy sliver stars they suck, the closest ive gotten so far are the piaa xtreme white plus 4000k.

 

Go HID, they are brighter and allow you to see the road wayy better than a halogen ever can. If it is just color, well then that's up to you, but if you are looking to see the road better at night as well as have the blue, white or purple lights, I would definatly go HID. Stay away from the purple HID's as you can't see the road as well, the blues and whites are the best.

 

hids are the way to go.....

 

oem low beams are D1S. a tad on the expensive side, but worth it.

 

seriously i just put in my HID yesterday and omg what a difference. First off now i can see round turns when im doing 80 and when i say it makes SUCH a difference... i mean it. Def needed.

Plus they look soo sick that they even make u feel faster =P

its hard to match projectors with fogs they are different lenses. go 4300K from vision bulbs for both if you want superwhite.
