Went to a local car shop today and put a down payment on for HID installation..the total cost is $370 installed with 1 year warranty...they are 8000k,which is good enough for me...will post pics on thursday,which is the day of installation....btw,if any of you guys have HID's can you post pics...thanks

really nice pics..the first set of pics looks like a place in a horror movie...lol...but really good photography and of course nice car!

8000k might be alittle blu for me, but if you like the deep color man do it and post some pics

This comment makes me think that you don't know what the color temp means - 4300k = OEM HID most people feel that anything over 6000k makes you lose light intensity(will not shine as far or not light up the roadway as well) I think your ok with 8000k but its more than I would go.

post up pics when you get them installed

I think you're going to attract a lot of attention from the popo with lights as blue as that.

they look good, but they're illegal, so don't be surprised if you get heat for them!

my goodness he wont attract any po po... his lights are just what cops would think to see on a nice audi. The new maximas have a blue light so intense its incredibly easy to spot them.


nice lights man, good choice, they look very luxurious. dont let all these 1.8 guys with non HID's talk you down. I got the OEM HID'S @ 4300k and they are pretty blue, and i still wish they had more color.

keep modding and keep making that thing live up to the audi name. congrats, nice ride...

Legal or illegal would depend on local laws. I've heard that anything over 10k is illegal in most area's. 8000k is a little blue for me - nice to see what it really looks like - lookin good.
