well i got my new bumper today $509.00 with tax.. they guy gave us a discount so basicly it was thr bumper w/o tax.. and im going to this place that i guess does really good work.. they have new 6 series and lotuses out side and huge hummers.. it was crazy, it was a bit pricey $364 total but i know there going to do a awesome job.... but overall thats about a grand i could have used for wheels or something but thats life. im also going to see if they would do my lower valence in the rear since they have to paint all that crap anyway. and also i think something good is coming out on this, because im getting the wreaked bumper back so me and one of my friends and practice bondo and learn how to do that crap, and i also get to practice smoking my tails with the broken one. sooo at least i get something out of this ordeal.

oh and the auto body place for people in seattle area is Bellevue Auto Rebuilders..

so in about 2 days ill see how it truns out, and thanks guys for your inputs.

well idk the laws where you live but around here if you are in parked in a parking lot and someone hits you and leaves then you just pay a 250 deductable and it gets fixed for free. and your rates dont go up with your insurence company.

Some states have a no-fault accident law, where it doesnt matter who's fault it was it goes on both your records, and you both pay.

others have a fault law, where the at-fault person pays and is the only who gets a record.

For me, I'd take it to my insurance agent and pay my deductible, and then get a check.

If you ever do anything for insurance get all quotes at the dealer! bumper.. 400+ bumper +install, taillights even more. then buy the stuff yourself online or at a local shop and put it on yourself. could probably pay for the deductible.

yeah but the thing was i dont know who hit me so it would only go on my record as a non-fault accident, which they would still see as a accident so when i turn 18 next year and get my own insurence i would have a accident on my record and it would be alot hard to get it.

also my insurence agent said to never call the main insurence company because if you tell them that you were in a accident they still make a note about it saying that you were, even if you tell them that you are paying for it yourself. so she said to never call them, but to call your agent frist that way its not on your insurence record and they could still raise your rate on it if you told them. which i thought was pretty sketch.

anyway they have my car today and they said it would be done by tomarrow i guess but i think it should be done by thursday, they are also paint only my rear lower because i plan on getting ne side skirts and new front bomper anyway, and the guy also said he would find me a new tail light for cheap so i dont have to do it and it would be all done at the same time, but we'll see if he can find one.
