Default Hitachi MAF

Anyone have one of these? Why is it nearly half the price of a bosch?

scroll down and you'll see it, link Apparently the hitachi maf comes from Japan and is also chosen over the bosch unit in many big turbo upgrades, even awetuning has them. Found a guy on here who had one link

Also, what exactly do they mean by this?

Its only for a V6 A4 and not a 1.8t. ALso a remanufactured maf is just a new eliment with a used housing. The part that matters is 100% new.

Sorry let me clarify. I have a 30v. The only reason I'm considering this is because I keep hearing about reliability issues with the bosch units. Plus they're overpriced.
