Default HKS EVC
Is it possible to use an HKS EVC boost controller on a B5 (1998) A4?
If not, is there anothe type that will work or is an ECU upgrade the only real way to increase boost?

You can definately increase boost using an MBC...but it is not recomended....for a b5 you should go GIAC... www.giacusa.com

Audi's don't respond well to MBC's, get a chip and you don't have to worry about a thing.
