This guy nearby is selling his 02 1.8T with 80k for $8500 obo. I could give him the cash right now but I'm hesitant. I kinda like my 2.8 but the 1.8T sounds like a sweet deal. What do you guys think? If I do take the offer there will be a 98 2.8 up for sale soon, any takers lol

Yea thats what I want to spend...but I'm thinking if buy the car will I be able to sell my 98 with 115k for about $7000. If I could I'd drive over there and give him the money right now lol

If the timing belt has been done then I would deffinatly take it. Actually I would take it regardless. That's a great deal.

Jeez thats crazy low! I waslooking at an 02 1.8T w/83k for $17k when I bought my car.

8500? that seems like an amazing deal(timing belt or not) if the car is in good shape, then go for it!!!!!
