Hey guys...coolant temp gauge on the hud isnt working...anyone know of how to check if the sender unit is working and where its located?? thanks.

get a new sensor. they are 15 for the blue and 5 for the green. most likey the culprit

when my temp. guage stop working I was going to replace it but when I looked at the sensor which is in the back of the motor right in front of the battery bay, I found a lose wire from the temp sensor connector that came disconected some kind of way so I put the wire back together it worked fine.

 

it is very close to firewall. look at the between engine and firewall you'll see the sensor. it is like end of a pipe. and connect a cable top of it. you'll see the color easly either blue or green.
