Default Hole patchin'

Hey all,
I bought my car from a woman in Ohio, where they require front licence plates. So now I have three big holes in my bumper where the stupid plate was mounted. Any ideas on how to 'patch' the thing? I thought about hanging a picture there... or or wallpaper, but I'm not sure it would work. Its not really anything terrible, but its an eyesore when you get up close to it.

Yeah deffinately leave the plate mount on there and get something not tacky, some kind of plate, to put on there... As long as its not representing the confederate flag, or a sports team of something. What whatever you like..

Boo plates, I'm not a huge fan of them. What's this bondo/paint you speak of SmokeU? Wait...what I SHOULD do is slap a bumper sticker on it...think of the possibilities....

only cost you about 25-30 bucks shipped

fill the holes with bondo and sand them smooth and even with the other paint. tape off an area in the shape of a license plate so if it looks bad you can just put the plate back on. sand this whole area with a fine grit paper until its even. buy some paint from audi and paint it. let it dry and with the finest grit paper you can find (i went to a hobby shop and bought model sand paper) sand between the old paint and the new paint along the seam. use a polishing compound, then wax it. it will look bad at first because the new paint will look better then the old, but as you drive it rocks will chip it a bit and it will match. i did mine a few months ago and it looks perfect, completley unnoticable, the best part is that i no longer have holes in my bumper. PM me and i can send you pics and give more details because its kinda a hard job.

Audi used to offer little plugs to go in the holes.
