Hey im tryna make a homemade intake for my car. ANy Idead or suggestions of waht materials to use or anything that would help me on my mission...

2.75" coupler
2.75" U bend pipe
and then you can stick a k&n filter on the end and voila homemade intake

Thats for a 1.8t, he has a 3.0

Yeah, which also means the heatshield isnt as important, because there isnt a turbo to heat everything up.

if the airbox is in the same place as the 2.8 then you could give these a try. i did the first one and im pretty happy with it so far.
