Default hooray for upgrades

Hey guys-

Been doin research the last few days on going K04.

Make a long story short, ordered the k04 from gpopshop (hybrid), already have the giac k04 software (not pc16 yet) and a bosch / neuspeed 5bar fpr. While i was at it, i got a snub mount, and i'm trying to figure out the diy fmic thing right meow. Have a kit picked out, just haven't clicked 'place order' yet.

I'm excited! I'll post pictures and my own diy k04 install for noobs (because i am one), and hopefully get some dyno results for you guys.

Nice, I know they say the gpopshop K04 meets BW K04 specs, but I'm interested in seeing how well it really works. Good luck!!

Also, in the few minutes since i posted that, i ordered a diy fmic kit from edtmotors on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=190135943202 , i'll do some pics and noob diy for that too.

definately will do a detailed write-up. Hopefully it'll come in by this weekend, so by the end of the weekend I should have documentation of my success or failure up. :-P

About 1k. K04 was 625 (turbo) + 37 (gasket kit) + some shipping, snub was 12, fpr was 80 or so, and fmic was 200 plus shipping.

(I already have the k04 software, or that'd have to be bought too.)

It's only money, right?

...thats what i tell myself...
