well a few nights ago i got caught in a microburst and i guess something sheared off my exhaust so i have nothing from the downpipes back. i am getting rediculously loud backfiring and just an obnoxious exhaust which is setting off car alarms left and right. obviously im getting it repaired tomorrow but how bad is with me driving it as is. bad mpg, stuff like that, also how hard is it to replace the O2 sensors since for 24 hours my exhuast was hanging by the O2 sensorsand a ribbon of metal.

Its not as bad as it sounds (litteraly)
I would be concerned about the 02 sensor wiring harness/connector under the hood if all that weight was really being supported by the 02 wiring. You DO have a CEL right? It shouldnt be hard to replace the 02 sensors since your exhaust is non existant from the DP's back. Havent you ever had a look under your car before?

ya i disconnect the exhaust at the dp just for ***** and giggles sometimes. with the test pipe it is so loud, it is ridiculous. perfect for scaring the **** outa kids walking around campus and the o2 sensor isn't hard to replace

 

nothing bad will happen its just hella loud and annoying
