oh ok glad to get that cleared up. so is an air intake not that beneficial for these cars? i know the benefits of ECU tuning and will get some sort of ECU tune or reflash soon. What are some of the other most beneficial bolts on for a B6? sorry for the noob questions but i am coming from full size chevy trucks. thanks

The best way for you to speed up your car is a chip, a chip is just a re-flashed ECU. Some companys you can look into are, APR or GIAC, or REVO. Now a chip will run you $500 dollars and its best to have done at a local dealer for the brand names I listed, just go to there sites and find one near you. With a chip you will need a Diverter Valve which will run you $35-135 depending on who you go with, you need that because the chip will make your turbo run a little harder and give you more PSI that your stock Divrter valve can't handle, chips are reliable and safe and offer 30-45hp... There is a big difference in speed and its the best bang for your buck.
Now with a chip most people will say you need a full cat-back exhaust to offer less restriction and give your car that flow it needs, especially since its chipped. That will run you 800-1000$ for the exhaust and an install. Companys for that are, Milltek, Borla, AWE. Good luck and I hope that helped, if you got any more questions just post up and I'll be happy to help.

Once you've done those you can get a test pipe best bought at (Ecode tuning) or even run a intake setup, which debateably(word?) gives you more power.
Since your B6 your gonna wanna go with REVO tuning on the chip
