Default How big exhuast piping?

How big of exhuast piping should i go with. I think i am going to get custom exhaust soon but i dont know if i should go with 2.5 cuase i herd that audis need more back pressure. So should i go with 2.0 or less? Also if you want to give me suggestion on what muffler to go with that would be cool too.

ill guess its a 1.8 T ( could be a 180 or 225 ) only difference is the 225 has twins as standard, 2.5 in stages with resonator boxes could be good and up to 3.0

2.5" is plenty big for a stock to mild turbo upgrade. Plus the turbo provides more than enough backpressure
