does anyone know how to bore out ur maf sensor in a 2.8 12v a4 quattro??

not the sensor the maf in general thats what i wanna bore..and y not whats the problem with it?

What is the id and od or the maf? Modshack sells bored out ones for the 180 and 225 mafs. You will need to add additional fuel to accomindate for the extra air, increased fuel pressure will be enough.

There is only one way to find out. Steve from Modshack claims his **** flows 11% more air, plus if it leans out the a/f enough you should see some real gains. Im not saying 20+hp but a solid 10hp across the board is possible. If some N/A cars can gain 10-15hp from a cai, this should be comparable results. Someone needs to bea guinea pig, preferably one with that can watch the a/f ratio.

Ugh - 1.8t owners - step off

You can DIY your MAF if it's a 471A model. All you have to do is take out the thing in the middle of the MAF housing. Easier said then done. I bought a Mance S3 MAF and it does add a bit of fun factor.

The 12v runs a bit rich by nature so taking out the post shouldn't cause any problems.
