Hey guys,

I can't seem to find a posting about how to upgrade the headlights on a 2002 from hologen to xenon. Can you guys tell me what parts I need. I imagine I need a ballast, bulbs, and some kind of wire?

you can buy purchase complete conversion kits off ebay or other sites lltek etc etc. Those kits are usually plug and play.

 

go to www.oemhid.com where you can find a tutorial for installing them.

The RS6 kit seems to be the best. I installed it on my B5. It was pretty good. I was actually able to pick up the whole kit off fleabay for less than 200 bucks.

 

What is an RS6 kit? And what would I search for on E-bay? It seems like there is a lot of junk on there. Thanks guys, I'm new to Audi.

 

the RS6 kit is the HIDs from the RS6, they are very nice
and i say just get them off of www.oemhid.com instead of EBAY

 

So you can buy those and install them right into the current holgen headlight housing? (say that 5x fast, haha)

Yes, there are tutorials on oemhid for retrofitting into halogen headlights.
