I have a 1996 a4. I was wandering if someone knew of a site/link that walks you through changing your own oil.

step one - get in your car
step two - drive to tires plus/jiffy lube/mieneke - ect
step three - take out wallet
step four - drive home

 

first of all make your dam font smaller

 

They need to up the legal driving/car ownershipage.

 

I'm gonna be nice to a fellow 12v'er.


Step1) put car on jackstands
step 2) remove belly pan
step 3) use socket wrench to remove oil filler plug on bottom of oil pan (have filler cap open to increase flow)
step 4) remove oil filter
step 5)put on new oil filter (use some new oil on O-ring)
step 6) reinstall drain plug with copper washer
step 7) pour in new oil
Step 8) Close cap, reinstall bellypan and put car back on ground
Step 9) Enjoy

By the way, there is this thing called a search bar at teh top of the page that if you type oil change in, it will give you how many times people have asked this basic question.

No than all the laws that are BS to that age group will go up to the new driving age gorup and their inexperience will hurt us all.
