I need to get some step by step instructions on installing a BOV on a 97 1.8T Audi A4 (B5)? Can anybody help?

Having four posts I was just trying to be sure you knew the difference.

 

hmm... ok.

 

why do you want to install a bov? are you going standalone? if you're not, you're just going to lose power by messing up the maf readings.

i highly recommend selling the bov you bought (if you already bought it), and getting an upgraded DV.. and if it's sound you want, just get an open air intake (cone filter) in combination with this.

Didnt mean to be so rude but i know all the pro's and con's here... So do you know where i can get the instructions?

 

well first tell us what bov it is bc there are alot of them u cant instal on our cars...ur probally going to have to get either a hks, greddy, or turboxs. u usually have to buy an extra kit so it will mount correctly. he why dont u just get a gfb hybrid so that way u keep ur maf happy and u get ur sound at the same time. if u dont have upgraded fuel when doin this ur probally going to be leaning/richening the car in some points causing bad results in both cases some worse than others. i really dont think u know the pros and cons of puttin a bov on ur car. u should do some research man.
