im about to get my chip reprogrammed. Was on a 99' A4 and putting it on a 2001. GIAC dealer said i just had to send in the old chip and new ecu and would reprogram and install it for $75

not reaaly some people actually remove their ECUs and mail them in to get chipped

yea the dealer around here said any software updates they ahve would be free for the life of the chip. I'll have to check the spark plugs. i just got the car, so i dont know when he last changed them.
