I'm painting my lowers this weekend and was hoping to take the lower part of my front and rear bumper off to do so. I think i've read on here they just pop on and off but I wanted to make sure before i broke something.

 

make sure you unfasten the clips that keep it attached in the wheel well.
Otherwise it just pulls of with a series of front clips.

 

Yea, I saw where it attaches to the wheel well. Awesome, they should be a lot easier to paint off the car.

 

doing a search on painting my lowers, how easy was it to remove and re-install?

i'm planning on doing my lowers, but i'd rather not try to mess with taking them off...

how much adhesion promoter/paint/clear coat did you go through? i'm guessing 6 cans of each for all 4 sides?
