as the title says i want to remove the whole back seat assembly. i cant see where to get the backs to come lose at

 

take a chainsaw to it...jk i believe they are under the seat ...run your hand along the under part of the bottom of the seat and then take a screwdriver and pop it in

 

it pops up in the middle of each of the buckets.. just pull hard it will snap off.. you wont break anything..

yeah once you pull your back seats out your going to be amazed at how easy it is.. its just hard if you havent done it before.. but its all down hill from there.. you will be pulling out backseats like a champ in no time

 

Just get an Avant (they flip down)

 

i assume hes doing it for weight reduction. Haha teh sedan ones fold down down also. FYI

 

You mean I bought this heavy, bloated, gas guzzler and I don't even get the privledge of being the only one with flip down seats. Just kidding. Oh yeah weight reduction good thinking... don't forget the battery is under the back seat (or is that an A6 thing)
