Default How does this sound

I took my car to audi to check on the status of my car and they confimed that my turbo had blown and my intercooler was in need of repair and of corse my warrenty would not cover it. they told me it would be about 3500 to 4000 to get a new one and my car would be in the shop for a week. Next i took my car to MAC and they put togeather all the stuff that i would need for a larger turbo. This included a T3/T4 turbo, Manifold -T3 on a T25 flange, 38mm waistgate, downpipe and full exhaust, FMIC and piping, 450 or 550cc fuel injectors, MTM chip, and a AFC select. all this plus labor and dyno tuning would be $4340. does this sound like a good idea?

stock turbo replacement should only cost you around $1800... add the intercooler for maybe another $500. whoever told you $3500 - $4000 was on crack
