How to estimate 0-60?
I always see in magazines the 0-60 time then (est.) next to it. Does anyone know how they come up with those numbers? I am interested so i could get it for the s/c. What about for 1/4 mi?

i know it sounds stupid but i think tehre is a formula out there for it. And if i had the ability to just step on the gas i wouldn't need the estimate would i? (bond 007)

Haha, you make it painfully clear that you read the magazines... i recall you saying your moms a6 was really "touchy" with the brakes and gas... lol, you just threw that in one of your posts, it seemed out of place -- course, the most recent issue of car and driver (or road and track -- I cant remember) reviewed the a6, and that was pointed it out in the "LOWS" section of the A6 review. I thought of it the second you said it, its like you copied and pasted it from the article to the forum...
As for the 0-60 times? That's a pretty hurtin question, the same magazine as the A6 review, reviewed several of the G-tech power pro type devices. I KNOW YOU HAVE THAT MAGAZINE. hahahahhaha

u guys r missing the pt. i cnat drive the car so i cant count or do any of that if i could i wouldn't be asking this question. I am looking for a way to find out the 0-60 WOTHOUT DRIVING THE CAR. There has to be a way to do it with the hp, tq and weight factored in. And headshok i said that before the magzine came out and just drive it and u know what i mean. Its very sensitive.

when they estimate the 0-60 they look at the older model's times and then contribe to the newer models new weight and power and then guess
or they just go with te old wirhg to power ratio and guess
