damn you guys are lucky. on mine, the fastest i have been is like 100(just haven't had a chance to go higher...radar went off when i did that) and the rpms were like 4.5k or higher in 5th. I don't think that the car is capable of 135 b/c of rpms. Maybe I need the 2.8 tranny......
But...it sure did get to 100 pretty fast....lol

I did with my a4 1.8TQm 1995 145mph(235kph) in fifth it had ~6100rpm,Don`t know if gear ratio is same on new a4`s.Car is stock except eibach springs,it could go faster +150-200rpm cause car was fully loaded.(5 persons + baggage).Anyone knows gear ratio for this car?
i hit 125 then i get scared and remember i live in the country side and theres a **** ton of deer. Donno how i could explain having my car completely fucked up and not to mention me. Hitting a deer at 125 would be a minus.

Would be more than happy to prove it. Airfare is not that expensive right now, get a plane ticket to germany and I will pick you up in Frankfurt and prove it before we leave city limits. After that we will hit up a biergarten or 4, and then do it again. [sm=alcoholic.gif][sm=alcoholic.gif] Maybe after that though, the wife should drive.
