hey i was thinking. i want to do a new turbo in the long run. but how much can the 2002 audi A4 1.8t sport package really handel. the clutch, the engine and so on? can any one help me on this one

 

There's plenty of people who have upgraded to a K04 and left the clutch stock. The bigger factor is how YOU drive the car, and how abusive you are. I don't think i've heard of anyone killing their engine by power upgrades. The German's make a pretty tough engine.

if you have the multitronic version remember that it only support 273hp (the multitronic version for a4 1.8t), uf you go up, the chain of the multitronic get broken, this is not a joke, but if you have the tiptronic version, dont worry until 450hp

ehhh no way in hell would I put 450 HP on a tiptronic transmission.

 

yeah i have the tiptronic one so i would be fine pushing around 350 on my car.
