Hi i have a A4 at the moment and was wondering if anyone knew what is a reasonable distance to drop it by as i have found springs in the sizes of 30,35,40,45 and 50mm for all roughly the same price.

First of all.....Use the search function at the top of the screen.

We can't help if we don't know the year, sport or non, tire and wheel size, etc.

 

10-12 inch drop is common.. May have to roll the fenders.

 

its a 1996 B5 A4 1.8I non turbo with 15" standard wheels on i hope this helps as i have no idea what drop to go for

Also, suggest saving your money for adjustable coil-overs such as H&R's or Voghtlands. This way you can "Dial them in".

this may sound like a dumb question but is there even such thing as a 1996 B5 A4 1.8I non turbo? i've never heard of such a thing. To the best of my knowledge the '96 only comes in 2.8. and isn't a 1.8 gauranteed to be turbo? I'm confused....
