FYI all the b5 series i kno form my knowledge has FORGed internals, and are pretty solid engines...Id say you can do 400.. just keep it cool. If you kno what i mean. REAL COOL.

Not to seem like a dick, but this coming from the guy who had to dig two graves in his backyard for 2 audis already. I'm just saying, maybe you weren't keeping it REAL COOL.

One other thing you need to associated with tubular vs cast stock type manifold is to make sure you matching the appropriate turbo with the appropriate manifold and required power. If you want to continue to have quick spool time you will definatley want to stick with the short runner cast manifold. While people using a Gt35, obviously are looking for large Hp. Therefore, you wont want super quick turbo response from the cast short runner. A tubular manifold will match much better with a larger turbo that is aimed toward hard hitting higher rpm power and torque vs linear peak boost a lot quicker. For instance a small turbo would suck with a tubular manifold.

boost about 30 psi on stock internals
~30psi on what turbo? psi rating it not a generic figure. a ko3 and a GT35r flowing at ~30psi will have very different results
i was basing that on the fact that is you ran 30 psi on a k03 or k04 it wouldnt do ****, or it would blow up

so that would mean you would be running a larger turbo.. (yes i am aware there are more cfm's with bigger turbo's)

it was just a generalized statement

Good luck. The highest dyno run I have seen was Jeffs @ 337awhp.

Also, it's an online forum where people will voice their opinions and have bouts about what they think is right. Always take anything you read in a forum with a grain of salt.

Closer to 350. Jeff dyno'd 337 awhp. Most people that get numbers that high usually end up with a rod or 2 through the block.
his carwas/is a freak of nature
haha i love reading that
