i have a 99 a4 1.8T and im trying to paint my black lowers the same color as the car(aluminum silver---Y7M)......does anyone know how much this would run me?

 

$50 probly check vwvortex for DIY painted lowers. the color is brilliant silver by duplicolor. or you will pay like 300-400 at a shop.

 

are you doing it yourself or getting it done

 

not myself....my friend knows someone who can paints cars so i need to supply the color and he will paint it for me.....thats why im wondering how much should i expect him to charge me.....

 

i got charged 5 bills by some cat here in LA
someone was bragging here on the forums that they got it at marsinternational for 250 bucks

i work at audi and the painters there said theyll do it for 300. which im willing to fork out becasue itl be a special way and it wont chip off in a month.

Denis, I think I would save the loot and have it done right. I had a little accident in my civic and took it to a Low Budget Production (LBP) paint shop and the paint never did look right. It was off and didn't match too well with the rest of the car. Had another accident and took it to the certified honda dudes and it was on point. And the color was black, how could they screw that up! Anyways, if its done right it will help the resell value of your car, and you will be happier over all. You got a nice ride, don't screw it up with an LBP.
