How much more does it cost For a Synthetic Oil Change
When I first got my audi I thought I would (at least once) do the "right" thing and have the oil changed at the dealer - I call, he says 75$ - I knew that they would be filled up and have no way to get me in so I said I would have to find another day that would work for me. OR NOT!! I live in an apt so doing it myself is not an option. So I pay $40 at a local place that does Full synth.
Greetings all... Just my second post here...
So, do you guys recommend running synthetic? I've used Royal Purple with K&N oil filters in another car, but as I just got my Audi, I thought I'd ask around a bit.. (Mine is a 1996 A4 Quattro, 2.8) Thoughts, anyone?

Make sure its done at the dealer. that way it goes in the system. you never know when your engine could blow. having a 5k interval oil change history will come in handy.
