it would cost me too much to get it to a point where i wouldnt be embarrassed to drive it.

so you got it in 10/03 with 37K on it, barely drove it calendar year of 05 and it has 100k on it? mine has 100k on it but i am not trying to pretend i never drive it. so that means in 2.5 years (10/03 to now = 3.5 years minus the year you didnt have a license and were on probation) you drove it 60K miles?

 

have 2 jobs, love to travel, my mom and one of my brother live in Idaho state (9 hours drive from me) and i’m just one of those ppl who hate to stay home….. that should explain high mileage … embarrassed of what??? plz be more specific… i gonna get newer A4 or S4…. so looking for advices….

i really wasnt trying to hate on it, i swear. my tastes are my tastes, and i really try to not impose them on anyone else. i was just trying to answer what i would pay for the car if i showed up at your place to look at it for purchase. My own personal preference is oem body panels, so i was saying it would cost me too much to return it to a stock look for it to be worth me buying.
at my ripe old age of 33, i only use the term embarrassed because i just couldnt see myself pulling into work in it, or showing up at a job interview or a supplier meeting in it. But thats just me and I am not discounting the work, money and effort you have put into it.
what i was getting at with the mileage computation is that, if you seriously want to sell it, perhaps you offer TMI. as a buyer, i would certainly appreciate knowing all of that, but as a seller, i might not give so much detail.
since this thread was simply to incite personal opinions, thats the only reason i did.

id say like 5-6 grand tops, all those mods arent doing anything but hurting the value
