$400 for new Cruise control (only thing wrong with the car when I got it, just brought it in to get fixed)
Front Wheel Bearing $46 for bearing $195 to install
$100 for new sway bar links fronts and rears
$300 - For Timing Belt kit from ECS and some other items- installed it myself -saved $600-700 on labor
$500 for new Wheels and Tires.
think thats about it.


The thing you need to remember about all of the MSN reviews is that people that are happy with a purchase rarely write reviews and people that are pissed and have purchased a lemon are out there yelling at the top of their lungs.

$950 for rear main crank seal..

$40 part and $900 labor


luckily the previous owner did it before i agreed to purchase the car

$1050 for: rear right wheel bearing, differential seal replacement, cv joint repair, front left and right tie rod replacments

$700: major tuneup, control arm replacements

$800: clutch

97 1.7 tqm, 145k daily commuter, 75 miles a day down 880 (worst freeway in the nation for commuting - stop and go all the way)

on the audi i blew my turbo and it cost me 5k...for a bt
on the evo i blew the transfercase and that set me back 2.5k

$2000 axle, clutch, clutch cylinders, welded cat because for some reason it just snapped off (car is mad fun to drive without exhaust!) it was done by a friend of mine thank god otherwise i would have needed to sell my kidney to pay for it... and it all happened in one week!

me having it done, the front right control arms 350+175 in parts. probably the clutch or the t-belt by the previous owner was more.
