No your right it doesn't automaticlly put aload on the engine, But if your yousing that chip you have your going to run your car at a higher RPM and heat range which guess what breaks down engine oil. The harder you run your engine the sooner your oil should be changed.

I highly doubt Audi is throwing in new motors, they are most likely rebuilding them either at the dealer or sending them back to the factory for the factory to refurbish them and send it out to the next dealer with a sludge motor. I can clean a block and head after it is torn down in about and hour in the Hotsy.
