I can't wait to see the first post of someone who tried this and ruined their manifold.

Yeah, I tried to find a new spooler manifold, but no one seems to have one.

i love how everyone argues that a bov and dv do the same thing. which they do and they dont. a DV serves more purpose than just releave the pressure. its intent was to help reduce turbo lag by recirculating compressed air back into the intake. therefore when the gas is pressed again more air is readily available.Theres been many debates about the effectiveness of this but thats what it was made for.

They both do the same thing, relieve pressure from the ic piping so the pressure doesnt slow the compressor wheel causing shock/surge. The closer to the tb the faster you car will spool, running a dv compared to a bov has nothing on spool times, if so, all turbo cars would have them, maf or not. The only reason for a dv is to keep the metered air still in the system, that is all. Once the valve opens the pressure is already released. Also the turbo can more than suck in enough air through the intake and doesnt need the recirculated air. Sorry bondga!

You can recirculate a blow off valve as well.

Some yes, only the ones that have been designed to do so. ie: ssqv with fitting, greddy type s/rs, turboXS h25/34.

Others you can't. ie: Forge 004, turboXS type s, apexi bov, etc.
