you could pull the negative lead on the battery and leave over night or do the same but turn on all the aux systems to deplete the memory what reason do you require this information??

Reconnect your battery, just know it will reset the entire car including time/date and the radio... Typically

The best way would be go to Autozone and ask them to read your car and clear the code. If the code comes back, then you know you got a problem.

or... get a vag com

Yeah it gave me P1128 code 3 weeks ago and went away a day later, It just came back on again. I bought the car 2 months ago and just replaced the upper control arm last night. The car is performing the same way it was the day I bought it and all the post on the P1128 code were not promising. So I want to clear it and see if it returns. Any ideas or opinions?

17536 P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult., Bank1 System too lean

If you have a 1.8t , check the L shaped vacuum hose between the G-12
reservoir and the intake manifold.

English? where did the 17536 come from and could you be a bit more descriptive. Any rescources or good reads for me. I have only opened the hood on a audi 3 times in my life and it looks a bit different than my wrangler.

You were already given ideas.

You can disconnect the battery
You can find someone with a Vag Com and clear it
You can have Autozone clear it
You can go to the stealership and have them do it

Yep I saw those ideas, just responding to another questions, but thanks for reposting those, I am sure it will help others in the future with the same question, you could write the cliffnotes to every post if you feel like it.
